Photograpy Contest

It’s time for the first bi-annual La Lomita Wildlife Photography Contest !!

I’m really excited to offer everyone who came out to the ranch to photograph our amazing birds and wildlife a little opportunity to show off their best shots ! The contest is open to any photographs taken on the ranch between January 1st and June 30th of 2024. Photographers may enter two photographs for each day they were on the ranch. If you also shot images on Transition Ranch you may include those images as well.

We’re going to keep this easy and fun so not a whole bunch of technical rules and mumbo jumbo. Our judge will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. We will also post images on the Friends of La Lomita Facebook page and everyone can select their favorite. The one with the most likes will get a special Friends of La Lomita “Peoples Choice Award”. First place winner and Peoples Choice winners will receive a commemorative plate with their winning image on it, Second and Third place winners will receive a commemorative coffee mug also with their winning image on it.

Just email me your images at infoatlalomitatexas@gmail.com along with your contact information, including address and phone number. Winners will be announced in August of 2024.

In case of a tie for the Peoples Choice award we will select an alternate judge to pic the winner from the tied entries.
All judges decisions are final.
Winning images will be published on the La Lomita Wildlife Photography Ranch website and FB page(s)
Images must be submitted in .jpg format
Photographers retain all rights to their images
Entry deadline is 10:00pm July 31, 2024
By submitting your images to the contest you agree to all terms and conditions herein.
The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, with any dispute resolution or litigation to be held in Medina County, Texas.
The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and municipal laws and regulations, and the rules are subject to change without notice to comply with applicable laws.
La Lomita Wildlife Photography Ranch reserves the right to amend or terminate all or any portion of the Contest at any time for any reason without prior notice.
Rules are subject to modification by La Lomita Wildlife Photography Ranch, including prizes.
